Take a stand
Make a commitment to stop using plastic bags. When you go shopping take your own bags, if you don't have a bag then go back later when you do. If you really need to buy something then buy another reusable bag and give it away when you're finished - think of it as a forgetfullness tax and a great way to get other people involved.
Spread the word
Talk to people you know about the issues involving plastic bags. If you can convince
just one other person to go plastic bag free then you have straight away doubled your impact.
